Derek Jason Bossman is the CEO of AdsBrook, one of the fastest growing web and mobile ad networks in Africa. He got involved in digital advertising through his love for marketing and technology and his desire to connect both passions. Although Jason has a background in Technology, having studied Information Technology at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, he is fascinated with the development of brands and the business of brand building using online and mobile tools.
With AdsBrook, Jason is involved with the company Strategy as well as Partnerships and Business Development.
When not involved in the fast paced world of media and advertising, Jason enjoys sitting down with music and a good book.
Yougora Boy Number 1 is Klenam , Co-Founder and head of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Yougora Limited a software startup in the heart of Accra with a focus on Enterprise solutions and mobile apps. With senses peeked in design (User Interface & User Experience) Klenam has contributed enormously with his creativity and associated acts to many brands that have sparked off in Ghana, Nigeria, Australia and beyond through a company he founded over 7 years ago with a primary focus on helping build not just brands but brands that impact. Klenam has training in Software Development, and English and is consciously pioneering the revolution of the way the web is used to affect and influence lives.
Yougora Boy Number 2 :’Billionaire by forty’, that’s his mantra; A natural public speaker, the creative and ambitious Joseph Dankwah leads Team Yougora. With roots in the arts and an education in computer science and management, Joseph brings an undeniable creativity to Yougora. As a business developer, Joseph enjoys conceptualizing, birthing ideas and applications carefully weaving the intricate strands that churn out the strong rope. Joseph is an ambitious business man and this energy helps drive Yougora and his other business ventures. Joseph has a Computer Science and Management degree from Wisconsin International University.
Edward Amartey-Tagoe is a Software Entrepreneur with a passion for technology, social media and youth capacity building. Edward’s entrepreneurship journey begun when he was in his 3rd year at the University of Ghana, where he started his first company, managed it and sold it two years afterwards. Edward founded his second company, Nandimobile, after graduating from the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), the biggest Tech Incubator in West Africa, with two other colleagues. The US State Department selected Edward as a Tedx fellow in Dec 2012 to share his inspiring stories with other African youth on the continent.
Josiah Eyison is the Cofounder of iSpace, Accra’s newest tech hub. iSpace is a space for developers, innovators, entrepreneurs and technology lovers to come together in a shared facility and work together.He is a committed manager who co-ordinates resources effectively to achieve targets within stringent deadlines. Strong leadership and communication skills, innovative, pragmatic, hardworking and approachable. Fiifi Baidoo the 2nd Cofounder of iSpace is a Web Enthusiast and has worked in the internet industry since 2003 with years of experience in LAMP, GEO tools, SEO, and Product Development. He blogs about the internet, social media, new technologies, platforms and apps in Africa. He is also known for his avid interest in mapping technologies and trains technology communities on these subjects. In 2010, he accepted the role to be a managing member of GDG Ghana (Google Developer Group) where he helped set up new GDGs across Ghana and SSA.
A co-founder and CEO of Hatua Solutions Ltd. An Accra based IT company, a brainchild of highly professional people with a far reaching vision and excellence. He is currently the Head of Projects GhanaThink Foundation (BarCamps, Junior Camp, NVDAY et al), project manager of Odekro (parliamentary monitoring platform) and BloggingGhana’s citizen engagement and participation project, InformGhana. Naa Oyoo Quartey is the Creator & Founder of Roots by Naa, a crafts & fashion accessory online business in Ghana focusing on creating handmade fashion accessory pieces and craft item out of Ghanaian textiles and prints. Roots by Naa, was awarded by the Ghana Ministry of Trade and Industry as an Innovation Hero for using the Internet to sell and promote Ghanaian crafts online and was featured by Google’s Africa Connected initiative also focusing on African businesses using the internet to power their businesses.
She is also an award winning Lifestyle Blogger and Wedding Photographer with a full time career in Occupational Hygiene.
Cecilia Dei-Anang , She is the President of Ringier Ghana (The Company that bring us products like Tisu.gh,Jobs.com.gh,AllSports.com.gh) and CEO of Imago Connect ( A Communications Leadership/Management Skills Training Organisation) among other roles!!! I love her, She is inspiring and has a no nonsense approach to mentoring .
Currently the Country Lead of Google Ghana, Estelle is a highly motivated individual, committed to the social and economic development of Ghana.Previously the Managing Director of BusyInternet, Africa’s hugely successful internet startup, highlights of her leadership there include launching an ISP which went on to be awarded ISP of the year 2008, winning a World Bank Incubator SME program grant and successfully raising the finances required to open two additional cafe outlets serving an average of 1000 clients per day. In 2008, Estelle was awarded Top African ICT Business Woman by the ForgeAhead African ICT Achievers Award Program in South Africa.
